i really do like the writing of gunner, he’s a very interesting character imo. at first i did think that he deserved a second chance and had more chemistry with theo but as the story progressed it’s clear dylan is the only right option. gunners backstory and trauma may be an explanation for his actions but it doesn’t mean they can be excused so in the end still an asshole who abused and raped theo.
