Hmm I don't think he's being headstrong per se, I think he's in a double dilemma.
- It seems like Sensei has legitimate problems with comprehending certain emotions. Some people with certain mental affects are like this. I have a friend who is mildly autistic who behaves very similar overall to Sensei.
- As a creator, his perfectionism is overwhelming him. He wants to strive to do better than the lowest bar, and to him the story isn't reaching an ounce of his expectations...and I really feel that as a creator too.
