Couldn't grit and bear to finish, all the characters felt like shadows of real people. Since it's just 20ish chapters, the drama was too heavy-handed for the pacing that it had. 2nd couple had an interesting dynamic that i could've been into if tristan was planning on straight-up raping our mc
their 2nd time spanning multiple chapters including the prep work was making ME blush the fuck, this is really sweet and a nice change of pace in terms of characterization for me
the writing is strong on this one
it feels like a slow simmer of things to come, but overall we were given all their circumstances and it'll be really interesting seeing that develop
it had such a good s2 that I wish s1 received the same treatment with translations
i feel like it had so much potential in the first half that I just skimmed through it to get to the good parts

the romance, the world-building, the writing? all top notch! the team that did the adaptation poured a lot of love into this project, and I'm really excited for the side stories with how they expand the universe and tie loose ends with side characters
i really wanted to like this, but i have a few bones to pick with it
the first arc was too dragged out for me, them spending too much time on how they grow up as siblings completely erased any romantic connection between them for me
the way they write the MC frustrated me too, i don't know if it's cause she's supposed to be older, and yet she acts the way she does or something
this was above average, not a heart clenching or genre defining, but it was a good and engaging read from start to finish
weirdly enough, I thought the MC wasn't enough of an asshole lmao, I wanted him to be just a little bit more cut throat
I liked how the SML kept me on my toes with how close he was to catching up with the ML, made me root for him by the end
