pacing is hella fast, but it doesn't detract on how heartwarming the story is, wished it was one of those 5 ch ones tho to really properly feel out the whole thing as it unfolded

tw for the usuals, what's unique in this manga is how it managed to be both straight and hella gay at the same time in it's execution, there's so much casual sexism in it that it turned me off it multiple times

did a quick re-read this, just some minor edits to the review: it's got enough chew in it to actually enjoy the plot for what it is, the sex actually makes sense to throw it in there as often as they do lmao
funnily enough i feel like this explains body dysmorphia in it's own hentai logic way, mc still wants to be a man even if he's got all the working parts of being a woman and it'd be the 'easier' path for him to accept that
mc is dumb as rocks and would get into 'interesting' situations, some of these involve him getting beat up and SA'd but it doesn't go through all the way, nothing too graphic re: pain and getting beat up
no major yikes "no means yes" interactions between mc and ml, tho in the 1st chapter mc gets drugged up and horned up that he blows and fucks ml while asleep
a decent semi-mindless read, and it doesn't commit the most egregious sin for me, which is to be an uninteresting read and drag it out longer than it needs to

I wish FL is just a bit more trusting of Iz at this point in the story. Like she's thrown in her lot with him at this point, even if she was unsure about his affections.
I do love how it's been a gradual build-up of healing for her, and how the more recent chapters deal with how it really does take a village to help someone who's been abused all their life. Can't wait to know how they'd handle the next few chapters.
the dialogue isn't that weird, i think they tried to stay true to "gay speak" and used english equivalents in their translations
the way they draw art is hella pretty! I feel like it's such an interesting premise and world to delve into, lots of grey areas of both morality and sexuality
