From the cover that was uploaded in webtoon it seems pretty obvious that the ml is the moon owl guy. And it appears that he has already shown some type of interest/possesiveness to the mc. The question is as to why tho? It seems as if the two of them have never met before.
The other thing that doesn't sit right with me is that altough he could be the best ml out of all the others (bcz from the start he would only like her for her authentic self and not because of her being and marianne impersonator), he is using her as he pleases without taking into consideration the mc feelings. I'm sure they'll be some kind of explanation as to why amber (marianne?) appeared out of blue and mc is forced to keep up the act. But like wasn't the contract supposed to end when marianne appeared, so it is a fundamental question to be answered whether amber is or is not marianne Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

(Chp 29) I like how the ml and fl are such flawed persons and the story doesn't shy away of bringing their bad side. With each chapter, it's shown the reasons as to why the ml it's the way he is..as always trauma and danger surrounding him on every corner, but he still goes the wrong way on how to communicate and express his feelings for duora.
Meanwhile, the fl isn't the typical sweet, naive girl that is blidingly in love w the ml (thank god at least one of them had to step out of the cliches). Instead she wants to put some distance w nocton as she not only feels that their relationship was always one sided, but as well as the fact that he poses as a danger for her.
And she admits from the get go that she aproached him without the purest of intentions, so it's no wonder that in present time she doesn't trust him anymore and selfishly wants to break their relationship (to me this makes her character more interesting and 3 dimensional)

I know i'm in the earlier chapters but idk if i'm the only one that would've preferred to explore their first lives' romance, when the mc and ml were slowly falling in love w each other despite being "enemies" and all their deep scars and misunderstandings that surrounded them. I'm not complaing about their much more wholesome and rapid development of feelings in the present line. But imo it'd have been so much more interesting and heartbreaking seeing their conflicted emotions and slow burning romance. That's one of the reasons that i'm liking much better the ml from the first life, as he treated with respect and unwavering morality towards the fl. Still this is such a good read and i'll keep going n_n

Eventhough it's short, i liked how well thought out the storyline was. They first had sex when both of them were in the workforce (giving us the sense that they have slowly but surely been develloping more feelings to eachother while being roomies). This is one aspect that sets it apart from other smut mangas, where they have intercourse right away.
And props to the author and scan team for the uncersored slides. The dinamic between the two was really good. Looking for more of mangas like this!! ^^
