I just finished reading the ending and I'll tell you...being in the mafia is hard, but the meaning behind this manhwa is that a cold hearted mafia man finds someone who understands him and doesn't leave him no matter what wrong he does to that person and for that person to change him. That's what the lawyer did. Even when there was rape, being held hostage for days, getting shot for wanting to leave caesar..he understood what caesar has been through and he stayed strong to try and change him for the better. It's often that even in real life, when a person is surrounded by a group of some kind, that group influences the person. Lawyer influenced caesar ALOT, like ALOT..you'd think he's a cold hearted mafia when in reality he's the softest person ever who has separation anxiety :(( that ending was so worth it and it was so amazing and it shows a valuable lesson that even the coldest person in the world still has a heart for someone that is willing to go through the pain to change that person.

Reading this again after finishing it years ago and man this is still heart wrenching as ever. Im not saying that i pitied the loan shark, but i pity him. He really does love yoowol in the most twisted way. It seems that his view of love is different. Its toxic and mad. He thinks that when he loves someone, he needs to own them like item, he needs to possess them and abuse them to thinking that he will always need him. That he lives for him (in this case its yoowol). So i feel quite sad for the loan shark really. In the end he proves to be like his junkie and abusive father. The halloween side broke my heart. It shows that he takes drugs because its the only way for him to see yoowol. If only he’s just nicer to yoowol, if only he didnt used yoowol maybe this would turn out to a whole different ending. Anyways, im glad that yoowol didnt choose someone abusive unlike other manhwa. And im glad he’s better at the end.
