their dynamics is just so...from just seeing this chp for some reason i felt sad thinking that one might assume ahyeon can lean on moondae more than moondae can on ahyeon but really noooo ahyeon has always been the sweetest kindest friend ever even before they debuted it's just that moondae is a very wary person (as he should be tbh considering his whole situation) idk i love watching their relationship blossom im gonna cry
finished this quite a long time ago and this is gen such an impactful story to me i love it so much it's insane how it lowkey never left my mind every since i finished it and i'll never move on, i will for sure reread this a hundred more times, totally the type of work where i want to scrape it from my brain and relive how it was reading it for the first time

there's gen SO MUCH i can yap abt it for hours but if i have to tell you smthng and not spoil you, i would say it's the complexity. everyone esp the main characters felt so formed¿ such well developed characters, the plot is so compelling, there's moments in the story esp one in particular where i needed to pause to just absorb everything and i love it, i love when i read something and it makes me think, makes me question where i stand, idk if it's just me but i totally felt like i knew the characters after reading like the earlier chps and it just made me feel for them much harder it's so gooddd
i may have said a whole lot of nothing but if you feel a bit of curiosity, i say read it!

it’s honestly amusing how they preach that ‘it’s all just fiction,’ yet become disproportionately defensive the moment someone points out that the story they enjoy or love blatantly contains rape. they proudly claim to ‘know how to separate fiction from reality,’ but somehow can’t handle their supposedly ‘handsome,’ ‘rich,’ and ‘charming’ male lead being called what he actually is– a RAPIST. the irony is that in defending these narratives so aggressively, they end up normalizing the very thing they insist they understand is wrong. because really, why get so offended if what we’re saying isn’t true? i suppose being a yaoi fetishist does something quite remarkable to one’s critical thinking skills.
