Firstly slavery isn’t actually abolished it just takes different forms as well as in some country’s they literally straight up sell ppl still.

I think artistic freedom should be respected and not mixed with reality. Yes, life can inspire art but it doesn't mean that it should be thought of as reality. Instead of raging over pencil strokes why not protest against slavery happening around us? Care about slavery that actually exists!

Secondly, please learn to separate fiction from reality. Fictional porn exists so that we can safely explore and fantasize about our kinks in a safe environment. The artist is portraying slavery in a negative way anyway so I don't get the issue. I accept that this storyline is too 'extreme' for you. Then don't read it. But bringing in all sorts of societal issues is fucked up. This is meant for entertainment only, not for discussing moral values. I would understand if the story would glorify slavery or present it in a positive way but it's the complete opposite. Spinels don't however I can see relations between south- asian people and their culture with the spinels such as the names of 'dev' and 'rhea', appearance, accessories and it doesn't help that south-asia was colonised either. Your comment sounds very ignorant regarding the whole artistic freedom given the fact that this is work is very influenced and copied from reality. Slavery still exists and is in many different forms however just a reminder that there is intergenerational trauma from countries such as india from being colonised and people don't seem to understand that it actually exists.

So you're saying that artists aren't allowed to portray slavery at all? Just because slavery existed (and still exists) in real life? I see no harm in this story, just because it includes something that's fundamentally negative.
It's not very different from action movies for example. They portray murder and violence, often against innocent people, but the viewers are still allowed to enjoy it. That doesn't make someone a bad person.
