Well, she did say in earlier chapters (when she was about 3 years old? I can't say for sure) that she feels like she mentally regresses due to always being treated like a child. I can only imagine it as feeling torn over her mental age and how others treat her. Though she does have a tendency to think about what would be a normal (re)action for a child her age.
