It was awesome but is this manga finished? I don't think the case is solved... unless I missed it?
I agree. It has SO much potential and yet, everything ended too easily considering all the stuff that happened. Makoto was made at his BF for the dog and than forgave him with no thought. The BF almost killed his own mom.
The one cop that was raped, just forgave the kid and it doesn't say if they get together or not.
The uncle cop thinks he is second place in his BF's heart, though it implied that may not be true, but didn't develop that any further.
It ended the serial killer without batting an eye. I thought it was going to be the doctor at first, than I decided on the teacher (and I think that would have been epic if they had done that and delved more into WHY she was doing it, since her mom had made her be a girl instead of the boy she was born as). And they could have elaborated on the doctor a bit more and on the dynamics of some of the others.
Actually, what would have been great would be if each couple had their own manga series with the serial killer storyline overlapping them all to help draw them together. Then the author could have really focused on developing each couple's story and the intensity and all of each story line.
The only story in here that feels complete and finished and is thus totally satisfying is the one at the end that has nothing to do with any of the others! I am sad. I like this manga. I want, no, I NEED more. I need all that stuff addressed and finished. :(
