The maid really is her biggest opp, literally running to report her every actions to the home country, she doesn’t care about the FLs feelings at all.
She’s been forced to half-marry some random guy that oppressed her country at age 14, and this maid is trying to force her on him. He doesn’t even want to sleep with any of them so stressing the FL out doesnt help the situation.
Also the “I cannot submit false reports”, she is clearly not on the FLs side at all, she would probably throw her under the bus in any bad situation. The maid has been with the FL for almost a decade in a foreign country, and there’s no loyalty built yet???
That's not how it works. She's loyal to her kingdom, the queen, the FL sister. Her feelings and FL feelings do not matter in politics. Historical wise this is a very common practice. It's normal, and they both know it. Going against it is considered treason. Country comes first, and their feelings might come second or third or even lower than that. Being born a noble comes with the responsibility of putting your country and the people first. The maid is a great one. She cares for her master, the FL and is very food at her responsibilities but she's also very good at maintaining her job with is keep the FL in check. The FL is there to create political relationship to benefit her country. This is the duty of a noble. Being born in wealth comes with one shortcoming which is you have everything but the choice who you marry.
I LOVE time limits where everyone is distraught and the main character is just living their best life and not caring about anything. It’s pure comedy!
Does anyone have any more recommendations like this where the main character is sick and everyone else is in chaos about it!

I don’t want to call it boring…maybe I just don’t find it interesting. I do what to know what MCs connection to the hero is, and by extension the royal family. What I do not understand is why no one recognizes that he looks identical to the former prince and the former kind.
I don’t understand why people in the other world are like “oh he’s so scary and shady, so intimidating”. Shouldnt they be like “why does this random man look like the royal family so much?” Like I knew someone was weird about MC when I noticed his hair is blue, it’s not dyed either since it’s the same shade as the prince and king. I thought it was a style choice, but no he was just walking around Japan with naturally blue hair and never saw a problem.
At this point one of the girls needs to be very forward so the rest of them can know he’s a horny mess and it’s okay to sleep with him

This shit sucks…it’s depressing, seeing a young girl get brutally beaten literally every chapter, her friend is dead, and she doesn’t even really know what the world is about cause she literally just spawned in.
Also the rape just being brushed off is crazy, like no consequences because “we can’t lose a soldier we need the numbers” is foul. Why have women in the army if you don’t care what happens, she shouldn’t even be sleeping in the middle of a bunch of men to begin with. Why can’t she sleep with the female medic?
Remember? She was not supposed to be in the frontlines because she is a medic. She got dragged because the commander demanded one.
Also yeah it's depressing, but I think stuff like that is common in wars.. :(
