The blonde long haired guy(childhood friend) and the blonde short haired guy (guard). The childhood friend is overly ambitious and had become wary of the claire(?) and so conspired with the guard to hold tia hostage and kill claire(?) because he cares about tia too much. Basically petty and unneeded jealousy paired with greedy ambition who led to the childhood friend’s ambition. The baron has always been a piece of shit so no surprise there.
Ok so is he (the childhood friend), the king who appointed him or the one who was expecting to be in that position that the ml was appointed....
They both looked similar.
The childhood friend was to be the next king(if I’m not wrong, he’s already the next king as he was known as the prince of the nation before) the lookalike we saw during the coronation seems to be a lookalike to the prince who was named as a feudal lord. Which I’m assuming is a lower positioning than Claire’s due to his displeasure towards him. The friend probably grew paranoid and also distrustful of Claire seeing as he was amassing power and claiming to be loyal to this country yet kept tied to his previous home through the guard(but personally I think the moment when Claire started to shine, he no longer saw Claire as a childhood friend) so the betrayal was inevitable, it just proceeded faster with the help of the empress and the guard.
