I kept delaying reading this because of some comments, but I’m glad I gave it a try. It’s definitely worth reading, y’all. It’s not the ‘replacement’ thing you’re all afraid of. And it’s not as sad as I thought it would be. The seme and uke make such an adorable couple—their dynamic is really sweet and genuine.
Tbh, I also found myself missing seme’s older brother, just like the characters did. He had such a presence even in his absence, and I truly believe he would’ve been happy seeing the two of them together and moving forward. I believe the uke still loves his ex, but now it’s a different kind of love. It’s amazing how beautiful human relationships can be sometimes.

Is this a replacement/ substitute story? please can someone answer. I’m planning to read it.

It usually refers to a situation where one character's lover is replaced with someone else, but that character only sees them as a replacement for their initial lover. This could happen because:
1. the lover dies and the character can't get over it so they project their dead lover's image onto another person
2. the lover loses their memories and kind of becomes a new person or they get into some type of accident where their personality changes and again, become a different person, but the character still sees them as their initial self
3. some weird reincarnation stuff happens
Point is, one character is hopelessly stuck loving someone, but something happens with them and the character just can't let go of their lover so they project their image onto a whole different person, which puts a lot of pressure and expectations on that person and causes a bunch of drama and problems :)))
WTH? HAHAHAHA Ngl i thought it would be the 2 friends pranking him into having 3P lol. That would be a better plot twist.
