Basically skylar had a crush on his friend (minwoo?) and thought he might've felt the same way since he was acting sort of flirty. they drank together one day and Skylar kissed him while he was sleeping and he woke up. Minwoo was pissed and tested skylar the next day by saying he liked the kiss to see how skylar would reply; hoping it was a misunderstanding but unfortunately skylar confessed he liked it too. Minwoo was disgusted by skylar and tricked him into kissing another dude. Later skylar got bullied for being gay and got beat up daily.
I don't think he was raped or anything but I remember the bullies making skylar take off his clothes, I guess for humiliation? (Sorry it's been a while since I read it too!)
