It's been mentioned several times before that when a vampire dies, under the right circumstances, they become demons. That there is no actual "death" for them so long as either their heart is still intact (even if their head is destroyed), or if the way they died was starvation; So I'm hoping that Mika will become a demon given that his heart *could* have survived.
But then the issue with that is his memory. Demons don't retain memories of their lives from before, though Asuramaru gives the strong hope that one *can* recover their memories with the right material and circumstances + time. Mahiru and Shikama Doji also give that hope, but they're special.
Another issue is whose hands Mika would end up in, and when would he be discovered if he's not transformed into a demon right away? Also, how do demons end up being sealed into the cursed gear weapons?
Yuu's and Guren's teams are special because they can wield the cursed gears which contain demons....so not all weapons are demons, and presumably not all demons are converted into weapons. So maybe Mika could be a demon, but no one would no since there's no contract to form with him.
Ahhhhhhh, there are a lot more issues than I thought!!!!

I can vouch for the "eternal youth" of a woman with 2 adult children. I'm 23, turning 24 in exactly one week, and my older sister is 36 yet my mother still appears to be just in her early 30s (despite being in her fifties).
People look at me and think "damn, her mother must have had her young!" even though I'm actually the youngest. She still gets carded every now and then at the beer store, and people often jokingly accuse her of lying about her age when she actually tells them~(〜￣△￣)〜
It's sometimes frustrating for her.
Ah, well I wish it were longer, but I'm very happy that it had a resolute ending. Overall, satisfying and doesn't seem overtly rushed (though it might just feel that way because I read it in increments as it was uploaded, and not all at once).
I've binge read all the chapters released so far (1-25), and I gotta say that I'm a little suspicious of the headmistress of the academy.
Potential Minor Spoilers Ahead:
So I don't know if anyone caught it, but in one of the recent chapters (somewhere in 24 when they're learning that Arphonia spell) there's a panel where a woman with red hair (a little wavy) and maybe dark lipstick (maybe just lighting for that bit) is shown to be speaking to Evan------basically encouraging him to give in to his rage, and explicitly stating that the only way for him to get stronger is to embrace his darker side. You can tell by his shirt collar that Evan is wearing the school uniform, so he's at school.
The only wavy-ish red-haired woman, who also happens to wear dark lipstick, we've met so far is the seemingly over-the-top headmistress.
We don't know much about her yet, but we know that she's also the one to come up with that super difficult month-long survival test to weed out the weak from the strong. It's kind of an inaccurate plan, since it didn't require the students to go all out with their powers, but I'm guessing she needs a magically strong, emotionally unstable, young and impressionable person to go through with whatever plan she's concocting. And she's chosen Evan
Also, besides all that, right at the beginning at like, that first test where Niro's shoes were ruined, he said something about Evan already knowing that the test would be impossible without shoes, and sabotaging him on purpose. I feel like this ties in nicely with your theory that the headmistress is kinda iffy and that Evan has something to do with it

I'm happy that Sena was her first official friend in this new town. His personality is exactly what I was hoping it to be, and we even share similar hobbies....Now I just pity myself because my ideal friend/future boyfriend is trapped in a manga and we shall never meet ;_;)

It seems that the more I read it, the less interesting it becomes. It's just sort of "meh" to me right now, especially when compared to other similar genres.
Wasn't expecting this sudden turn of events, but I'm loving it right now. The story before was good too, don't get me wrong, but was more predictable and generic. I found myself getting bored at parts, despite still enjoying every chapter.
On a side note, can we talk about the bracelets that Tirasu, Niro, and Evan received? I'm most likely overthinking things, but each had a gem that seemed to denote to a key character trait.
Niro = orange hair (red head)
Tirasu = blue everything
Evan = purple-ish eyes.
Niro got the bracelet with a blue gem, Tirasu got the bracelet with the red gem, and Evan got the bracelet with the purple gem. I wonder if it hints at a possible ending in terms of romance? Evan will be alone or with someone who isn't a part of their group just yet (if he doesn't die, I swear this boi....), and Tirasu and Niro will be together?
