So, does the next arc get interesting again, and does Arjen (the male twin) actually die at some point? Or become obsolete to the story? I've seen several people mentioning it, and I'd like to know *now* bc him and the elder brother Alex are the only 2 characters I truly like right now.
Arien is nice and all, and she's a fairly good character, but I was reading first for the "twin" aspect that was unique to this story, and secondly for the plot. I'm not currently into the heibi arc all that much. I was satisfied with the first arc...

So, If it's just going to eventually focus solely on her, and they get rid of Arjen for abitrary reasons, then I'm considering dropping if the next arc isn't interesting.

Are we just going to forget that Chihwan has *many* other enemies for eating other vampires for hundreds of years? Maybe millennia?? These two need to live in seclusion, or learn how to use their respective new powers STAT if they wanna live without hiding for the rest of eternity, bc the moment those vengeful bastards learn of Chihwan no longer being a vamp.... It's gonna be chaos to see who can kill finally kill him.

The author is really good at portraying a great amount of "wholesome" in non-cringy ways~
I love it, and makes me want to be there(〜￣~￣)〜

Reading the novel and not knowing even a tiny bit about Korean history, I was pretty confused with the current arc and could only grasp the larger and more basic points. You made understanding the current arc and the significance of the characters and relics SO much easier to understand without me having to do the research myself.

Idk, I guess I'm just losing interest in it now. I don't even remember why she's trying to swindle Bellaire (the devil). Only that it has something to do with protecting their household from others, but I don't remember how Bellaire is involved....maybe because the chapters are dragging out too long?
And her character is somewhat disappointing atm. I usually love the manipulative and cunning types (Aria from The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass is a great current example *chef's kiss!*) but Leticia here is just outright lying to Bellaire, right? She literally just had her people dress up like they were from some devil representation legal service, and it just worked.
It started out as intelligent manipulation, but now it's like she's not even trying. Maybe it's because Bellaire is surprisingly gullible and stupid for a Devil Contractor...

It just feels like sloppy writing is what I'm trying to say, I guess. So far, everything has gone her way after becoming a part of Erden's family, and it feels like the only reason she's "winning" is because of plot armor and the magic of FL.

I also don't really get all the legal talk about finances, though I do understand the recent talk about the new currency being virtually worthless temporarily...But can she even do that?
She just arbitrarily devalued her currency to trick Bellaire into being penniless, but what about economy and inflation and deflation, and all that jargon cr**?
Her currency isn't even valid to begin with, right?? It only works in this one region b/c the cat people are literally addicted to her stew and were desperate enough to pay anything for it. If she'd asked them to kill their neighbour for it, I'm sure they would have done so...

They went down the route of finances and economics but it feels half-baked, though I'm happy they're at least trying to explain the main points. And I'm not a student in economics, so maybe I don't know s***, and they're explaining more than enough.

I'll give it a while more, but I feel like I'm going to regretfully drop it soon.

On another note, isn't it weird that Jiwoo's guardian/parent didn't show up at this point? I mean, he's a minor and typically the parent/guardian would be contacted, right? I know it's a hospital owned by Shinhwa, but don't they still have a duty to notify his legal guardian? Not to mention how much school he's missed and how unusual that behavior is for him (a good student). Shinhwa also made excuses for him, but the school should have looked into it to make sure that the info they got was from a source that had *legal* authority and custody over Jiwoo...I guess Shinhwa has better reach than I thought!

Is there another site to get the raws from, if not the official translation? Because I find that this site, whatever it is, has a ba habit of cutting sooo many pages which makes it extra difficult to read since it's sometimes cut at important parts.
It's the same for every work uploaded on that site for the raws, and I wonder why.

It's not entirely the translator's/group's fault at this point that things don't make much sense (this work and others). I remember having a really hard time understanding My Superstar Uncle at one point because of it.
