Some people here are being actual intellectuals--- thinking about motive and reasoning and plot, and here I am....my stupid self fixated on thinking "Golden Ticket? Where's Willy Wonka???"

You know, I think we all just kinda assumed Igris was a male...but in the New Year's panel at the end of c.134, Igris was wearing a more traditionally feminine hanbok, right? I could be wrong, since I'm definitely not an expert on traditional korean clothing, but assuming I'm right could we speculate that Igris is or was represented as a female?
I think it would be hella cool to see that one of Jinwoo's best shadow soldiers who gave him a run for his money when he was still Rank A (?) is/was a female. I don't think he has any atm.
I'm also most likely reading way too far into New Year drawing, but... *shrug*

Is it just me, or do the recent chapters kind of feel like "crack-treated-seriously"? Specifically the panels where the focus is Mahiru Hiragi. She confuses me in a way that I just don't like, where I got lost in the structure of the plot.
That may be the point, considering her character is the mysterious and manipulative "ends-justify-the-means" type, but I'm hoping it'll come back around to a place I can actually understand what's happening.

I like her well enough, and definitely admire that she's making a conscious effort to do the right thing for Vicente now----even better that she's not making excuses about her previous actions to either herself or others!
It will certainly take a lot of time and patience to develop trust and a bond with her son, but I definitely think she can redeem herself and be seen as a good mother in his eyes in the end.

I saw in the comments that some people are contemplating that Ercella might have had postpartum depression, which is ABSOLUTELY possible and would make sense for her behavior, but I don't think we have enough info on her previous life to draw that conclusion just yet.
I think it's possible to say that Ercella is a good "person" in both this life and the last, but she can also still be a bad "parent". Both her and Harsen had Vicente when they were quite young, and it's evident that both of them weren't exactly equipped/ready to raise a child in a healthy manner.
For Ercella, she was largely focussed on still living her life as a young adult (understandable when you consider she was 16/17). Going to parties, hanging out with friends, being a socialite. She was a kid having a kid, so it makes sense that she acted the way she did even though it was wrong. She neglected him, and I'm glad she owns up to that and acknowledges where she went wrong.
Harsen, from what we know of him so far, seemed to raise Vicente with the goal of creating a soldier/adult right off the bat with no room for imperfection in any area. Considering his duties as the head of house as a Duke, I'm guessing he didn't spend all that much time with Vicente either (more neglect coupled with academic pressure and zero love). I'm hoping there will be more explanation to him and that we'll get to see him interact with Vicente more in a healthy way.
What made it easier for them to neglect their kid is that Ercella and Harsen had the means of hiring nannies and caregivers, so it wasn't like they had to drop everything they were doing and make the necessary sacrifices to raise a kid like they should have done (within reason).

TL;DR: I'm not saying Ercella didn't have postpartum depression, and I'm not ruling it out either, but I firmly believe at this point that Ercella and Harsen were good "people" but not good "parents" and want to see more changes for the better from *both* of them.

It's my first time ever being an actual simp for anything, and it's for a fictional character all because he's too gosh darned adorable over Jajangmyeon. Come here sweetie, I'll buy you all the Jajangmyeon you can eat. He's like a sweet little baby, but dangerous cause he can kill you.
And more, now that the simp gates have opened, I'm slowly becoming a simp for all the other characters too. Jiwoo? No problem. Jiyoung? How could anyone not??? Kayden!? You cannot properly simp without simping over Kayden. Cat body, human body? Who cares, there is no argument. HECK! PRINCIPAL DADDY??? I don't even know at this point. Take your shirt off and flex those muscles and we'll see ╮(￣▽￣")╭

Off topic: I'm worried because I have this terrifying thought that the longer Kayden stays in the cat body, the more he integrates with the cat soul/body... Like, it seems that every once and a while we'll see Kayden as a cat from his perspective for a few panels and it might just be me, but I think that slowly, over time, he's becoming more catlike and is adapting to the cat form *more* and will be only be able to become human *less* or for shorter periods of time until eventually his soul will just merge with the original cat's. I know there's the whole "I keep trying to accumulate power, but have to keep using it to save Jiwoo and friends or smackdown bad teachers" and it's a very good reason, but it also feels like a flexible plot point. Like, the longer he stays in the cat body, the harder it is for him to eventually return to original form. I have my reasons, but I'll hold onto them for a little while because it's 4 in the morning and I have no brain capacity to properly explain other than:
Maybe by the end of the series there will be no Kayden. Just a cat named Kayden/Casein Nitrate. And I'm sad, and so worried, and just more sad because that's a beautiful relationship he has with Jiwoo. Almost brotherly. And Jiwoo's gonna be sad if this happens, and I'll cry enough to drown every shipping boat every one of you has possibly thought of in the course of this series....

But I think of my Jajangmyeon baby and things feel a little brighter.

I don't really know, and I hope it doesn't mean tragic final ending for our favorite characters, but what I'm noticing lately with all these reincarnation type webtoons/manhua/manga is that the tragedy tag generally only applies to the first few chapters where the MC dies the first time before getting a second chance.
I'm hoping it'll be the same thing this time, where the tag only applies to Aidin and her friends dying the first time around, but now they all have a second chance to make things right and will all live in the end.

Note: I don't hate Han Taehyun, not yet, I don't even dislike him really. But it's just so obvious how much Hwi genuinely loves Param, and how happy they can make each other that I find myself routing for their romance route the most. They're so cute

Ehm... Didn't Lady Daphne just imagine Keira with the Prince as "the perfect romance"? I suppose it isn't odd, since he is the prince. A lot of girls in this universe must imagine him as the perfect guy. But I wonder if it's a hint at the future if this contains romance?
