Why side couples always have the most interesting story? Like every time it's start with a cute story then bam the side story be like mafia and killing.

I mean I see it coming, his Grandma gonna die or something and feel like Jhorse gonna get into an accident and Dan will help him. So when Jaykay hit rock bottom and be so pathetic and miserable he will realize he love dan.
Tbh I'm not surprised anymore, all these Korean authors always go to the rape route , it's quite funny when you know that women in Korea get raped but never get justice, bc Korea is leant in their jail time so this doesn't make sense when most of Korean bl authors are women.
I’ve been here long enough to see that it’s not just Korean authors, it’s authors of this genre from any country. But not even just this genre, rape is included in straight and gl too. For whatever reason people seem to think rape is a good plot device to move a story along and when it isn’t used that way I suspect it’s just the creator living out a fantasy (for example did you know that some movies include real sex scenes so the director can go back and watch it later?). I’ve been reading this stuff for 5-7 years now and I’ve learned that it’s almost unavoidable.
