There is quite a gap coz in the novel when dongsoo interrogates his dad, he still hasnt gone to korea yet and the red gate arc isnt over yet.

Im not quite sure about the greatest disaster Ilhwan is talking abt but it is really way too far in the LN. Jinwoo will receive an info from the system about the new location of the double dungeon. He fights the statues again and also fights the angel who made the system. He wants to make Jinwoo a King and a monarch so he showed him the great war as a dream while Jinwoo is in the process of being a Monarch which made him have two hearts (he felt two heartbeats and made his mana skyrocket) I think the great disaster Sung Ilhwan is talking about is that. Currently im in ch 196 and there is still no reappearance of his dad, but his mom will appear quite sooner. Again, im not quite sure coz the LN is quite a pain. Feel free to enlighten me (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

While Jin Woo is the Shadow Monarch (or takes his place as the original Shadow Monarch lets him choose to live as the new Shadow Monarch or to die and give his body to him when his - Jin Woo's- heart was pierced by one of the other monarchs and only the second heart of the Shadow Monarch keeps him alive) there are a few others who will invade the earth tp prepare for their war with some angel-like creatures of the upper realms.
