As i saw that this masterpiece has a new chapter After like 4 years I had to read It again and guysss k love this so much. Actually im not quite a fan of teacher student relationships but sometimes it can be good and sometimes not and here it is just soooo cute and i love how they are already telling each other about their thoughts and feelings and that they are so open about it (in this case the teacher mit but he will..!) Omg I agree, there was so much angst and progress happening with the original couple (jian yi & zhan xixi) a while ago and I miss it!! I feel like the author is just trying to stretch this series as long as possible instead of returning to the original plot I'm glad mo and he tian are dating now but the main jian yi and zhan xixi haven't had any progress for like at least 3 years and sad to see

The best of angst is in danmeis( Mdzs and 2ha are definitely worth reading) while 'painter behind the curtain' is like a classic story with a little bit of everything, if you haven't read then go for it.
sorry to burst your bubble but this is a COMEDY manhua, it started out as just 4koma strips without much story after all, there's arcs that get serious with lots of development and there's arcs where they're just hanging out, if you're searching for only drama look for one whose main genre is DRAMA also if there's only drama and no breathing room for silly moments it gets very boring in my opinion but yeah
yeah im sorry its just that i think it could be both dramatic and funny at the same time like before. and okay maybe it should be just relaxing, calm and funny because of them hanging out and stuff but i still would like to see the main couple (im not good with names) more because i think the focus is now more on he tian and mo.
