Lord this thing made me rip my hair out for 60 chapters I rarely get so enraged by a bl like this one. I stayed around in the hopes A. his brother would live . B. The poor guy kills those scum bags. C. He just dies and can get some peace. And it’s looking like none of the above the switch up in the last 5-10 chapters is crazy non stop rape with maybe one chapter where the poor guy plays with a cat or eats some damn chicken and watched the football to them immediately be abused again. Lord uhh I can’t even. Everyone are the biggest hypocrites no conscience during the rape but all of a sudden you have some guilt or make a face like you like him only to do it all over again. The uke is Brazy to me how he can go back to commander idk I think he’s just so damaged that that scum is all he’s got left. The last two battles was some sort of silly team work doing it for the uke, I’m so upset he’s in pain or suffering like they all haven’t been doing it uhh. Idc if anyone agrees with me call me traditional call me vanilla but I didn’t particularly enjoy rape and blackmail for 70 chapters.
Here we go again …. I don’t know why I torture myself with these black flag tops … i haven’t read the novel but from what I’ve seen this is gonna be a n anger inducing doozy. Yipee me, I’ll stick around and see if there is a light at the end of the tunnel but from the minor novel spoilers I’ve seen there isn’t ╥﹏╥
Maybe it’s because I’ve read my fair share of black flag tops that this seems toxic but tame to me …. Let’s just enjoy the toxicity it’s not for the weak but what can you do.
I love this . I already know it’s gonna be great. I love the ukes personality and the story and side characters seem interesting and the art is nice. However I had a slight internal sigh when I saw it is a rebirth in present day situation. I know this is about to be the most angsty slow burn. And while I love those when the story is completed, at chapter 13 it makes me wanna throw myself over a bridge. ……… that being said looking forward to more chapters it’s gonna be a long one (￣∇￣")

Nothing hurts more than when your in the groove of enjoying reading and you click next chapter and you see that “chapter 1” and your heart sinks ╥﹏╥ I’m just happy it happened earlier on, if the officials came out after I’d read to chapter 50 odd I’d cry.
Now it feels like a story made by a 10 year old progression speed wise… but you make this a little 60 chapter slow burn this could’ve been something. Why !? (〜￣△￣)〜 the plot had so much potential …
Because these are professional mangakas, the publishers are the ones who set the manga’s page limits and quotas. There’s a reason why most bl mangas are like 6 chapters long. Especially given limited resources and adult (not easily marketable) content.
Yeah, it started to feel rushed....I couldn't even read Chapter 6 kind of just skipped to the bottom, saw a back tattoo, so I guess there together, but it happened in two chapters?
Peak fiction. Couldn’t be happier. Such a beautiful plot. Complex and very well done character development. I have little to no issues at all. This is one of if not the best bls I have had the pleasure of reading. I love them so much , they have come so far. A lot of bls have the enemies to lovers plot be very one dimensional but this is one of the most well written ones I’ve ever read. I love how at the end the author didn’t speed to a quick I love you confession. It was so well done according to the characters they are just two damaged people learning to love and trust again. 100/100 would recommend to a friend.
