I don't know if this is a trend or not, but there is anthology with this theme, the least favorite thing in yaoi to me is when girls involved. Not when they become supporting figure, but when they become the third wheel, or when this girl like a guy but turn out he is gay. It's hurting me so much and can relate as much.
