Like during the tea time or whenever the emperor asks for her, she didnt think of athy but instead was so happy she got to see and talk with the emperor. And even in the original story, jennette didnt even stop claude when he wanted to kill athy. What she wanted isnt a happy family. Shes wants to be happy. But in a selfish way
well according to the novel, Claude'll get his memories back after Lucas comes back and bonks him with a branch from the world tree. BUT! We should be getting a LOT of Claude and Athy lovey dovey scenes before that UwU
