i think the biggest problem of this story is the lack of insight into mag's thoughts. like i have no idea how he feels about her. clearly there's obsession but i don't understand the rest of it and so i can't care as much as i wanted to.
I agree. Its okayish but considering how conflicted and detailed fl's mind is, you expect to see the same diligence for our ml. Especially since he must also have same kind of messed up and conflicted train of thoughts
Personally i think his dialogue and the brief dreams kinda reflect what he thinks. But i would also love to see more thoughts from him
I think that's intentional, it makes it so that we the readers also feel unsure about his true feelings, just as how Illiana is unsure if he's being genuine with her. It makes us relate to the FL more and make us want to root for her to run away bc of how anxiety inducing their entire relationship is

He's literally just that. The villains need some relics from the first Hero to release the Dragon, Baba has these relics. He's now working with FL to prevent the dragon from being revived.
