can someone else who has read the novel confirm whether i'm right about whether the father dies? i remember he til the end is on her side but does he end up dying during the big battle at the end?

First sorry about my English it's not my first language
So yoven is evil the real yovenn is dead long ago and some evil spirt took her body and she need the mirror piece from Penelope so she just got back to yovenn family and she will try to brainwash them but she will not success and a war will be there alot of things will happen pinlope will use her power in front of every body after she win she will get the chance to go back to her real body in real word but she will discover her real body is dying from kidney cancer and there is no hope then she decided to live as pinlope and eskart will take her to the castle to live with him she will try to escape from him because she want to study but in the end they have an agreement that she will engage him while she study but

i'm so confused about won gae. he did kill her right? or was it an imposter? why does he seem to genuinely love her?

They share a cousin, have the exact same looks but different colour scheme, and call each other brother. Even without a third party, its pretty clear they're meant to be twins, or at the very least very similar appearance relatives.
It seems pretty clear that the twin did it, he clearly has a deep hatred of Nyeonbi and disapproval of Gae Won's affections for her. He looks the same as Gae Won to be mistaken for him, is his relative so knows him well enough to impersonate him, and hates Nyeonbi so he has a motive.
Him pretending to be Gae Won, tricking Nyeonbi into drinking the poison and then leaving Gae Won to find her dying/dead to assume she took her own life. Its a much more plausible explanation than "Gae Won was forced to give her the poison"

At chapter 35, there was a guy dressed in red+white clothes named "Unho" called Wongae as brother.
And he told Wongae to visit "their" cousin Sisi in the Palace (which Wongae did visit on chapter 36).
He looks like the "bro-con" type who idealised his brother as this some kind of "hero".
And so, a "hero" shall not have a relationship with a "villainess" (Nyeon Bi).
That's why I think this Unho guy is the culprit behind the whole "betrayal" things.

Now that I’m paying attention they really do look alike your theory is possible however they got diff hair colors that’s why my brain didn’t recognize they looked similar but they might also just be cousins because i think in Chinese culture ( I’m Chinese) you refer to your cousins as brother or sister if your close or something I don’t remember but now that I see it that twin theory is actually quite possible

anyone have any ongoing stories from the last year or two that have a similar vibe. I"m in the mood for calculated revenge but have read most of the older webtoons.

Hmm okay I have some similar ones:
- I raised my fiancé with money
- The one within the villainess (highly recommend)
- Death is the only ending for the villainess (dark)
- Trash if the counts family (calculative)
- The price of breaking up
- To those who long for my destruction
- I’ll be the matriarch in this life (personal favorite)
- Isn’t being a wicked woman much better (also recommend)
I believe most are still being updated right now, tried to get stories with similar vibes from my collection- hope you enjoy! ヾ(☆▽☆)
they're a very unrealistic married couple but this is still fun. but i can't get over how this is clearly not about a couple who was married before
Well it was an abusive relationship in their past life which is why I hope she doesn't end up with him again
Don't call it abusive, it's a very serious word. He has only negleted her and was cold towards her in previous life, which I think we would've understand if author put more into his POV coz his behavior towards her wasn't totally unreasonable but author's effort to make him into a cold to obsessed character made us forget it. But that's another point, him hurting Morgan in THAT way is soooo wring of him and nothing could justify that
i mean whether intentional or not, neglect is still a form of abuse. i do get where youre coming from tho
