To those who have read the novel : ( spoilers welcomed) : about the orphanage Connie : why did she kept Leo alive ? How did she kill Regina since she had the beast fang ? Was she really kind or bad in the orphanage?

She kept leo alive because she wanted to raise her then eventually reveal to leo that she was her mother's killer. She wanted to raise her with the very same hands she killed Regina. She wanted Leo to feel the hurt that she felt when Lemus olore betrayed her because in connie's/saura's mind, Lemus was her lover. That Lemus bastard told Saura that Regina was just a fling. But then she learned that Regina became pregnant with Leonie. Saura wanted Leo to feel betrayal after being cared for.
Regina was naive, she was easily manipulated by the knight (Lemus olore, Leo's bio dad). Saura was a maid/spy?/assassin of the olores. According to spoilers, the borreotis become weaker when they're pregnant, connie/saura slowly poisoned Regina to the point where she couldn't fight back.
She was kind on the outside but she's a manipulative bitch who was the mastermind behind the orphanage. The orphanage was a front, it was actually a child trafficking den where they sold orphans to brothels and other families that treated them as slaves.
Wow that's a twist. Leo really liked Connie and It'll hurt and make her angry more than the orphanage guys who abused them. I wonder how Leo and Phileo will torture her once they find out the truth.
Yeah when I heard Connie had killed Regina I felt like it was a front...Leo will her feel hell before killing her....and probably the same for her bio dad....and her "aunt " felt trashy too ( consort), so she will probably die too....
I don't want to spoil anymore but I just wanna say that reading that part in the novel where Leonie learned who her bio dad is broke my heart. She kept saying sorry to pelio and that she's dirtied the blood of the Borreoti's

Yonder, it's an app. It's paid, the whole book is about 100 dollars (if you're gonna buy the coin pack) it's too expensive especially in my country's currency. You can unlock 1 chap a day or you could do what I've been doing, I made several accounts to read several chapters a day. Current chapter in the manhwa is around chapter 100 in the novel (I'm not sure, I couldn't check because I only 'rented' the chapters).
Tips if you're gonna read it on the app:
- They have a 'spin the wheel' where you can get 5-15 coins a day. The coin adds up and you can use that to unlock a chapter
- They have events where you subscribe to a story and they give you 30 coins. You can use that to unlock a chapter. But you can only claim it once. The coins can be used in any story.
- 1 chapter is 29 coins each. You can keep that chapter. If you unlock a chapter using the 'unlock 1 chapter a day', you only 'rented' that chapter and can only keep it for 3 days so if you want to reread it, use another phone (bc it doesn't let you take a screenshot) to use the google translate feature or camera feature (if you have) to copy the text and paste it on a separate document (i wish I've done this when I started reading just so I can reread).
Also, someone sent me a link of the raws. I use google translate (the translate page feature on google), google lens, and papago (app, you can paste the link here and it will translate like google translate) simultaneously while reading the raws because some of the translations are really bad and incomprehensible. I still go to yonder if I want more clarity on what's happening but finding the chapter is hard because the raws/link does not include chapters but they are separated by arc (I think?). You can read from #13 on this site which is the current chapter in the manhwa.

Yeah, I don't know why they didn't change the spelling of the butler. It confused me too when I started reading the spoilers. So for future reference (from yonder's translation), Kony is the Borreoti's head butler and Connie/Saura is Regina's killer (orphanage mastermind).

Another question do Leo's biological dad know of her birth ?
I'm not sure but according to the spoilers (because I haven't gone to that part yet in the novel, mtl is giving me a headache) he suspected it at one point in the novel when the noble trial for a paternity test between Pelio and Leo was ongoing. That was court mandated (?) by the fucking emperor. Anyway, he basically bragged that he liked banging minors and remembered Regina being one of the minors he banged. He was a greedy pedophile who wanted to steal the borreoti's wealth through Leo.
I suppose he'll die and finish in hell.

I'm glad if she is accepted in Leo's loved ones. I totally understand why she stalked the duke. Nobody saw her and shr needed to be near someone really strong, even if she took the worst way.
