First have to admit I’m newer to the manga/manwha etc world… grew up shelter in overly religious household, as I grow, venture etc I try new stuff and absolutely love this world.. TELL ME HOW IM SO JADED SO QUICKLY? Just started this and spent whole first chapters waiting for his “work friend” to show signs of malice, envy and betrayal… I’m still suspicious even though he’s his manager now and obvs a good guy… 2nd when the whole thing about “optimization” popped up, I thought nooo now his hand will shake, I so didn’t wanna see him relive that disappointment… to the point my own anxiety was going off… ugh sad to know that after only a few years of reading these type stories I can’t just simply enjoy a wholesome one for what it is…. Gotta create the drama

Tho for optimization for gaming it just implies adjusting the sensitivity of the controls to suit his game style. Most of the time these vr setups are made to overcome an mc's disability like an injury or loss of sense.
I have a gut feeling about characters immediately through the ways they speak and behave, so I instinctively knew that MC's friend is a keeper and a kind guy.
