Basically this story is a WARNING on PROMISCUITY and the dangers of "COMING OUT of your shell" and trying out NEW THINGS esp ADULT things like seggs, high meds, etc, thus "Emergence / metamorphosis" in the title, bc NOT ALL CHANGE IS GOOD. Maybe your old plain unpopular but studious self would be better off
It's also about ADDĮCTION (to seggs and “high meds") and a warning on not to be NAIVE bc not all people are GOOD. Also it's also a warning to what happens if u don't know how to SAY NO and is a PUSHOVER, and constantly try to PLEASE OTHERS.
This story's a "TRAGEDY", wherein we see the protag descend into ruin and annihilation bc of their flaws, weaknesses, actions, and events and circumstances that occur in relation to it. Well known example is Macbeth
Personally this also taught me to have more EMPATHY TO "HŒS". It's true. Girl can be the most judgemental to other girls. But this taught me sometimes they may have a legit hard time controlling themselves bc they have an addïctīon to hœ-ing or to other substances like just being obsessed w gaming is hard to control sometimes how much more these other stuff are honestly harder to abstain once Ur compelled to it
