I think she hasn’t moved on 100%. She’s definitely come to accept what happened, but she’s in that in-between stage of grieving her lost love & accepting Taeha’s new one. She’s obviously hurt subconsciously, hence why she thinks that Taeha’s affection is temporary.
I honestly prefer this over the live drama. Maybe it’s just me but I find the drama kinda corny and awkward. They really pushed the rich guy & poor girl trope wayyy too much in the drama, cause I can see in the Manhua that Yifan is not that poor but very hardworking! Yifan in the Manhua can defend herself without Sang Yan’s help as well. And sang yan is much more charming and less of that ‘cold guy that secretly cares’ personality in the manhua. Anyway the slow burn is BURNING! Yifan has realized her feelings and is going to make a move I can’t waittttt.

This one took me by surprise. I’m on chapter 44 and I haven’t read anything in months. I honestly adore this story and I’m not sure why. I think it’s because I relate to this MC a bit, and I love the found family trope. Seeing the few moments where MC is happy makes me happy. I feel less lonely.
