The author wanted to make a teacher x student BL, but maybe knew that it’s controversial, so they decided to put our boy Isshin into a coma for YEARS so that he can be the same age as the teacher? Wow. It’s definitely an odd solution, somewhat pathetic too. But it makes the story unique because i’ve never seen teacher x student where both are the same age.
