I think knowing what happened and having a 32 chapters long flashback is different. The author is building a completely different story ATP. I think whatever happened could've been told in 10-15 chapters and if people wanted more they could've made a separate story that goes in depth. People didn't come here to read about Brian, they wanted Ian and Soleite's story... Ive read plenty ( mostly books not manhwas) that just have a separate book concerning the past. Ian story is a sequel and putting a 32 chapters long tangeant into a story just feel meh. But eh that's just my opinion
People aren't complaining about getting the backstory they're complaining about being longer than the main story now? If you're telling a story tell it and provide context as you go but the context is overtaking the main story. and I bet you that can't be good for the author either because people are now becoming disinterested. I myself has just skinned the last 30 chapters bc the brother has just now appeared and we know he has something to do with Brian. Did I care Abt the evil minister?no ? Was he useful to the story? Not particularly imo. So yeah sorry for the ramble...
The flashbacks were useful yeah but at this point it's taken over the original story which I was interested in, not the flashback with an obvious ending that has gone on for too long. I want to see Ian, not every detail about Brian's life story.
I mean honestly I have zero interest in Lorkan at all, so I get that. But based on when we know Brian died, it shouldn’t be too far off. Depending on if the author wants us to sympathize with Lorkan or not, will probably be the determining factor in length of this next part involving him.
We were begging to know cause we THOUGHT that the flashbacks would be 10-15 chapters… we did not expect to actually reach this long (i saw the latest raws Ch.91 and it’s still on flashbacks) i mean, what’s the point on every detail? Every detour? Every plot and schemes? .. we already know that Brian will die from this “oh no! Lorkan! My heart and body is only for Sol, then Lorkan be like: If I can’t have you then neither will Sol, so i stab you and regret it later..and for Sol knowing this he be like: forget about family you son of a bish!” Kind of plot ..
I can get that I didn’t expect it to be this long either but every comment whenever this manwha post is about the fact that the backstory is long like we got it the first time. It’s now just about if you want to keep reading it or not. To me it being long isn’t really a game changer since I like the story. I’m mostly talking about those who keep flooding the comment with « I didn’t expect it to be this long ┗( T﹏T )┛ » like obviously you can say whatever you want but I can point out how annoying it is from my pov

I can see that everyone took a step back from the hate but I will take a step forward and accomplish my oath I was INCREDIBLY happy when I thought he was going to perish and die but was then very disappointed. I don’t like him and I feel as tho I have wasted my time on a chapter with his face all over it I don’t care that they made amends his barbaric actions are just as dislikable as him. He’s a Buffon and I didn’t appreciate this chapter making him and the mc look like they’re on a love journey. I personally am appalled and disgusted. This bodyguard should just never reappear and actually pass away silently. I would love for us to focus on the main couple and not this trash moving forward. ( ˘◡˘. )

Yes I do and I will continue to favour him since he is not real person and I do not care for reason and context of him being a murderer. He has spice and is frankly very very attractive.
