I usually hate when authors do the memory loss trope but I actually really like it this time because It creates conflict, We already know from the authors note that their relationship has a lot of issues so it's concerning because we already saw how badly they dealt with their problems relating to their relationship in the past. Which makes me uneasy since It means that they might not last if that keeps happening so it's nice to see them going through this and working it out, it'll shows us how they usually deal with conflict and how this time they'll deal with this whole memory loss thing together and hopefully so so much better than how they usually handle problems within the relationship. So it'll give me peace of mind by making me see that they'll be able to work through future problems and have a happy forever relationship, definitely hoping yo see them deal with his memory loss in a much healthier way than they usually deal with things, learning from their mistakes from past issues and to communicate better will be really nice to see.
