hot take but this is much better than the woman turning into a child trope because the ML is ALWAYS mentally a kid while the FL is just an adult in a child's body or sometimes the other way where it's a grown ass man falling for the FL even though she looks like a kid. obv it's just fiction and just a genre that isn't supposed to be taken seriously because it's literally fantasy but isekai and romance mixed together in those instances feels weird. that's why I'm so happy to see a child FL that is ACTUALLY a child.
