Well, I enjoyed it.
I think the supernatural part could have been better and more explored. And also, blondie... I like his design even if he's a fucking rapist ugh. So I will fool myself and forget that those chapters ever existed. I hate myself but he and Evan the psycho are kind of my favourite couple dynamyc. One crazy, bratty, snobbish bisexual villain who is weak for one man and the biggest and manly but kinda soft 'sidekick' who was in love with the main character but was rejected. Like I said, forgetting the rape, so uncomfortable and unnecessary, blondie was not so bad.... Why author, why :(
But, well, Evan's really dead so that's it for them lol
Everything was good but author decided midjourney to spice things up with cheating, not consensual actions and misunderstandings. Also, everyone got selective amnesia for some things. Like, fingering someone is still sex, kissing (and having sex with) another person while being in a relationship with another is cheating, etc. MC actually cheated first when his friend kissed him, without consent, but he still reciprocated in some degree and let's not forget the car sex, also without consent. That was rape. But got soooo upset with his boyfriend and friend because he already liked the friend but thought he got cheated again, like a hypocrite. Well, at least he recognized he was being indecisive and tried to fix his own mess.
And, the ML being an ex-yakuza who is working as pub/hotel manager or something... using women as escorts and slaping them... like, I get why he slapped the girl. He did it so he could fool the client into thinking he is disciplining her, and later the ML beat up the client for doing shady things with her and the business.. and apologized to the girl... but still, he's using women like any other pimp would do. But he changed his life at the end and open up a restaurant, because he got ashamed of himself when MC saw him in a fight and almost got himself injured.
I feel that this could have been a great story but the author mixed a lot of plots and left others behind just to create drama and that's good if it's well executed. Even tho, I like the designs of the main couple and the actual representation of dating a much younger person than you, who you have nothing in common with, and is a narcissist and troublemaker.
Sometimes I like to give stories like this a second chance because maybe I can bring a new perspective to the reread... but no, this is still bad. Both of them are always fighting and are not well-suited. The ML is so volatile and violent and that can be so scary. It's not only about having a bad temper, he's just plain abusive. He destroys things, yells, controls and beats mc...
And the MC excused his whole relationship just because a horoscope or something told him he's a dumbass when in love... the type that it's blind to everything.
MC isn't an idiot or defenseless, he slaps and fights back, but it's not enough. They don't communicate and, at the end, they didn't resolved anything.
The sad thing is he's aware of all that... that he's blind, that he forgives but not forgets, that he knows the other party can cheat on him anytime and that he's so abusive, explodes and destroys his stuff whenever he's pissed... how, how can you fall in love with someone like that... I thought JJK from Jinx was awful but this guy is much, much worse.
Even the best friend normalizes their fighting and yelling at each other... and also, it looked like there was some kind of backstory with him and another, not seen, guy? He was going somewhere with someone. And not voluntary because he was being pulled by the hand on the street... maybe another abusive relationship.

Awww he's a cutie. When this is finished I'm gonna reread it multiple times. Thanks for the update!
