Honestly the change is sudden yes, but JK is doing pretty well still. Yeah he’s suddenly being totally self aware and all that but I like that he’s not really pushy at all, he knows that he fucked up and most importantly, doesn’t crash out again whenever Dan isn’t doing what he wants.

I think the reason why a lot of people are lost because of the plot is that there isn’t much plot to begin with.
It’s just Sehan and Chaon being childhood friends, with Chaon not knowing that Sehan is actually a trained mob boss. Sehan is doing alldat cuz he has some kind of agreement with his father - in order to keep Chaon by his side.
The one and only question that is left unopened is: Chaon‘s father was Involved with the Moon’s causing the whole gang (or more likely, Sehan‘s father and the asshole Hyung who punched chaon and made the car explode, and also sold chaon to kangoh) to be very indebted to him = so basically the Shin family, hence his son, our MC. And we don’t know what happened!
Sehan‘s father treats Chaon quite well but I’m imaging that he doesn’t like Sehan being tied down to him. But who knows.
This arc is just Kangoh being crazy af, he’s crushing on Sehan badly kinda LMAO and wants him to become his bitch somehow so he kidnaps Chaon to make Sehan submit to him.

I love how Kyouji sets boundaries for both him and Satomi but keeps overstepping those alone with the fact that he keeps meeting him. Fulfilling every wish, traveling hours to have dinner with him and knowing that all this is dangerous af - possibly ruining Satomi‘s plans of being a very normal adult.
Yet there are months of radio silence between them, the YEARNING!! The complexity of their relationship is quite hidden in the lightheartedness of Kyouji‘s nature, which isn’t only confusing (or maybe deceiving) Satomi but the readers as well! He seems like a funny guy to be around with but in the end; he’s yakuza and he won’t quit, not even for Satomi who he is whipped for.
He’s aware of the dynamics changing (Satomi—-> Kyouji and not Kyouji —-> Satomi, but honestly it’s Satomi <—> Kyouji haha) and as long as Satomi „needs him“, he has a big fat excuse to keep being with him.
I‘m sooooo excited for Jaekyung‘s development now, like what’s he gonna do? How will he change? This is one of the most anticipated arcs for me :DDD
God I missed this smut so much, the artist had some god tier level perspective, facials expressions and just EVERYTHING about it is so intense omg
