I'll just give you my opinion but I suggest you reread their story focusing on the bits from Gian's prespective, because I think that Misha wanted to try having a deeper relationship but Gian wasn't ready yet. I just scrolled through the chapters and there is quite a lot written between the lines! Basically, Gian is still hurting badly for his divorce, because he doesn't understand how you can love someone and then... just lose it all. He is afraid that loving again he will loose everything, just like with his previous relationship. You can see it already in ch. 30, Gian is already feeling that Misha could be developing some feeling and he is afraid, not happy. In ch 33 he says "Something like love will not ruin our relationship" (actually I think ch 33 explains Gian's motives quite well). Gian is comfortable with their contract because he knows Misha won't hurt him, but if they break it off he'll lose that guarantee and so hr is scared. And Misha both understands Gian's fears and won't do anything Gian doesn't want (this has always been their agreement, and he says so in ch 34, also stating "You wanted to end it") and since Gian tells him to stop when Misha is confessing .. . Misha will let him go. Sorry for the long reply, but I'll say it's quite complicated ╮(￣▽￣)╭
why Misha broke up with Dr. in 4th story? is it because Misha loved him and couldn't DO that perv thing to him anymore????
They were never in a relationship, just a contract. They broke it off because they both started to develop feelings.
