Bro I just really am in general starting to be so over like weird childhood friend (idk a better term for it) age gaps. I really don’t like that they knew each other and he was like a child and him an older kid like I think it feels creepy like if I were him I would’ve lost feelings and seen him in a more platonic I-care-about-you-as-a-fellow human way. I get it can add to the story’s plot but I feel like authors don’t always have to use childhood friends to show an intense bond between two characters!!!! I see it so often
