I know which chapter you are talking about but he didn't says he likes him its just there is no option for him cause girl he likes is with someone and he is left alone like he give up to his fate and i want to pint out he never except that bad behaviour just cause of some good thing done .... He says my be i really like his grace's face ... Which is i really like ......
In summary my point is he didn't like him cause some one or two good deeds and letting go of bad stuff that happens to him ... He just like after seeing that there no other option ( like that girl and runi g away) works he accept liking his face which is handsome.
