I highly recommend reading both versions. I first read this when the unofficials were ongoing, and am re-reading now with the officials. I love the refreshed art on the official one, but there were also scenes cut out from the unofficials, that I also enjoyed

Somehow, i liked the delivery of Song Liqing's lines here better than in the novel. I felt it more? But for most everything else, the novel was more detailed.
For example, it explains that the burn mark is a permanent brand of being a criminal or smth.

Im both give-me-the-next-chapters-nowww and noooo-i-dont-want-this-to-endddd. Ahhh that was satisfying. Both cute and hot, and I've got no problems with the plot
Plus points that it's a true alpha x alpha story where the bottom didnt magically turn into an omega. It's quite rare
