- chapter 6: MC suggests they become friends
- chapter 7-11: building enough stability as friends, abuser relaxes and start thinking THIS IS IT! I finally have him!
- chapter 12: hints of him descending back into his abusive ways
- chapter 13: abuse starts, MC pulls a gun out of nowhere and says “I should’ve known you wouldn’t change” (hint at him having regressed as well) and shoots him.

OMDD this would cook. I actually want to see this cause the way they are just continuing the relationship is enabling those actions which will lead to no character development.
