He really was wishing for her birth too. We may have talked shit about him but he was hurt too before meeting his love and after Athy's birth. He has endured too long.

she did tell him that letter wasn’t hers. And you should understand that she feels incredibly hurt, shes experienced the feeling of abandonment for a “lifetime”. She doesn’t owe him anything he made his own assumptions and choices!

exactly! he isn't suddenly coming back to her after a few years. to her its been like at least over 10 years. shes been married, widowed, a murderer, killed, reborn, widowed again and now that she finally has her life in a calm and normal state he comes back after all that shit whining how she didn't wait for him. She is absolutely in such a different place in her life then she was as a kid making that promise it would be crazy for her to immediately feel the same about him.

I'm not not talking about her jumping in his arms or an instant romance, that is fucked up. What I want from them is to take revenge on the fucked up side of the dead husband's family. He can help her and he should be willing and don't preach at me the anyone can do this alone and is not about having a man, is about to at her seeing that she can trust at least one person that is willing to really care to help her
thats the issue. no one is preaching at you that she doesn’t need a man. im telling you he broke her trust when he left, yes there was an intervention but the point is it still happened. trust isn’t given instantly once you find out someone messed with you, it has to be earned regardless of the fact. your mistake was to call her a let down.

i think you are missing that she dosnt want to go on some mission to take down the dead husbands family. For her the best revenge is living well why get involved in a frustrating and dangerous scheme for vengeance? she obviously just wants to never see them again and do her own thing. thus she dosnt need him because she dosn't need revenge. she has money and freedom and if anything getting involved with a high profile public figure will just point out exactly where she is to those people so they can harass her further.
I'm so happy and sad that his brother is alive. The care they want for each other is so strong. They take the burn for each other all the time.
