i remember maya bullied nemu in the beginning but along the way he got attached to nemu despite nemu being bland and boring... i dunno, no exact reason really, but i still enjoyed it??? lol. then they gradually became more invested in each other and ended up making the other person better in some aspects which is nice?? haha
I think his opposite lifestyle and personality attracts maya the most. It's like they're filling each other life with their opposite personalities. I have friends (gay couple) that have similar story as nemu and maya. This Maya always bully Nemu till the point where people have to stop him. But he can be sweet and lovely too. Everytime I met them, I still found it amazing how they can ended up as couple.
