Uke is just restating the boundary set at the start of this so-called relationship, or whatever Seme wants to call it. If Uke dared to interpret Seme's actions as affection or anything beyond a master-slave dynamic, Seme would likely become uncomfortable and furious. He very possibly would berate Uke for misinterpreting his behaviour and for overstepping these boundaries. It's a classic damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario, leaving Uke trapped with no way to win. Lolll
"She's still your mother." This is the line every child of abuse is confronted with when they reach out for help. "Family is family." What a sick joke. These platitudes are the chains that bind us to our abusers, trapping us in a cycle of pain under the guise of loyalty and blood ties. Society's insistence on preserving the illusion of a perfect family often forces us to endure what should be unimaginable, making us feel guilty for seeking the freedom and safety we deserve.
I'll keep reading, but honestly, it's teetering on the edge of a "WTF is this?" rating from me right now.
I am so in love with the dilemma of—what becomes of “me” then? Am I real to you? Brooooooo that was angsty.
There's something uniquely captivating about the intimacy between these two main characters. While their relationship began like any typical BL webtoon, you can genuinely feel them falling for each other through the story's subtle cues, without needing explicit narration. This speaks volumes about the author's storytelling prowess.
Given that the other guys didn’t develop romantic feelings for him during most of Yusung’s time travels, even if you combined all their emotions, they wouldn’t hold a candle to Taewon, who liked him unwaveringly for those 10 years, and Yusung felt the same. THAT MAKES SENSE, BUT IT’S STILL TRAGIC. They really ought to just go poly, haha! Also, it’s hilarious how this god lady didn’t consider what would happen to the other guys if Yusung were to change his destiny. Haha
Haha, this might sound like a silly question, but I'm getting updates for this webtoon and can't actually see them! Am I missing something here? Help a girl out, I need those next chapters! I've slogged through over 20 poorly translated chapters, and while I appreciate the smexy scenes, I really need to know where the story's headed! Haha!
I understand it’s early in the game, but the divide between Team Step Dad and Team Baeksa is just ridiculous. How can anyone miss the blatant direction of the storyline? It’s all about Baeksa and, wait for it—Muyeon! For those dragging their feet to catch up, Muyeon is obviously the other key player in this duo. Honestly, what’s taking you so long to figure it out (OR ACCEPT IT)? Haha, come on, get with the program! XD
I can’t get enough of this manga. PLEASE PLEASE WE NEED MORE. Where can I read or buy this hahaha anyone?? I AM DESPERATE
Yuzurihara’s insecurities make a lot of sense and it's really tough. Did anyone else catch his face when Tokiwa made that side comment during their smexy scene at the hotel? He said, “So guys can do it too,” and Yuzurihara looked totally stunned. It didn’t help that Tokiwa knew his way around bras. lol I’d feel insecure too if I looked so feminine that I could be mistaken for a girl, especially while dating a guy who is a known womanizer. It’s hard not to feel like my looks are the only reason they're interested in me.
I’m not sure how my take will be received, but here I go. I find it extremely hilarious that when Andou discovered “Mr. Fahrenheit” was just a child, it dawned on him that the way “Mr. Fahrenheit” talked was a tad pretentious—like someone trying to seem wiser and more enlightened than others. This irony is what makes it so funny, as it perfectly mirrors the manga itself, which tries to sound deep and philosophical in its exploration of homosexuality but ends up being equally pretentious while glossing over more insidious and reprehensible behaviour.
It's disheartening because Jihwan genuinely has a chance to have a real and meaningful relationship with Soo Young. Despite his erratic behaviour, he isn't entirely devoid of redeeming qualities. The truly alarming aspect is his insatiable desire to exert absolute control over the person he loves, which is psychotic. This reminded me of the Dahmer documentary, where Dahmer, despite being in a loving relationship with someone who truly cared for him, found it lacking. He sought complete submission from his partner, which ultimately led to Dahmer murdering him. It’s terrifying to witness the extremes Jihwan will go to in order to obliterate everything that sustains Soo Young—his academic pursuits? That’s too much. It gets worse from here on in.
It's absolutely infuriating that the latest chapters are being portrayed as light and funny, completely undermining the severity of Chungi's actions. Maybe it’s deliberate, almost as if it's meant to enrage us by showing just how casually Chungi is treating the entire ordeal, especially his deluded belief that he has any chance with Jiho. The sheer audacity of this piece of shit! It's downright maddening, and I stand my ground: he doesn't deserve a moment of happiness, particularly not with manager-nim, after betraying his friend like this.
