i forget what chapters but Jihye and Heewon were talking after his death when it was mentioned. So they definitely should've shown it drawn!! I would've loved to see it. Like mans was depressed

Exactly what I felt when I read this chapter. My annoyance wasn't because of the "live on Yoo Joonghyuk"! It was because there isn't even a hint of desperation or sadness on Yoo Joonghyuk's face. His face is stone cold with a single "dokja".They literally drew him as a emotionless mf in the manhwa when in the novel he was desperately calling "dokja! no kim dokja!" again and again and holding onto him in desperation so he wouldn't scatter away...
The most annoying thing is I just watched a YouTube short and there was a comment there saying "sooyoung romance unlike the original let's goooo!!!" with 8 likes and I felt like some people are misunderstanding these scenes and only focusing on "my lover" with a pic of Han Sooyoung when he called the story his lover
i can’t agree enough. The novel conveyed the despair and sadness in Yjh’s voice, being such a stoic character and him breaking down because he had to stab his one and only companion who he fell affectionate for. Don’t let me get started on how Yjh also held kdj in his arms, the desperation and the way the webtoon robbed us from our “Let’s meet again.” THAT’S SOO DISAPPOINTING.
The webtoon just portrayed it as something so simple i couldn’t even shed a tear. I liked the parts of kdj’s monologue where all the people were shown, but the one between him and yjh, which was supposed to be the most emotional one was just drawn so bad. Yjh looked as if he was holding a homie who was drunk. What a disappointment
Omg, i love that this story is developed like an actual shounen/action manhwa, but it's BL!! It's that slow development that makes it have a genuine action story feeling.
Like with regular action manhwa's ppl love to see the sussy scenes between 2 male chars and slow development of their friendship that gets us going.
And in actual action BL's, it's usually very fast paced and goes straight to the smut and it's just bland and doesn't give that giddy feeling you would get in regular action ones.
Love the slow burn! Though I do wish MC had more muscle bc his arms look like twigs what is thaaat. There's no way he did all that fighting in that dungeon, and still has the moves, but he's a twig ? Making no sense. Just give him some defined muscles, he don't gotta be buff
