These new chapters are confusing. Nathan clearly knows that Andrew likes him and is willing to do other sexual things with him, but having sex seems to be a hurdle Andrew can't get past. So instead of having a conversation for another time (since Nathan is busy at the art gallery) to give Andrew a chance to explain himself, Nathan decides to break up with him there and go fuck his ex.
At the hotel Andrew admits that he's insecure and embarrassed about his lack of experience compared to Nathan and doesn't want to disappoint him. So they try to have sex, but Andrew obviously isn't able to perform due to the stressful situation and Nathan leaves.
Honestly, it sounds like Andrew's worries that Nathan would be disappointed in his lack of experience weren't entirely incorrect!
