I feel like we've made a lot progress only to be launched right back to the beginning. Lord Yoon at this moment probably feels like a fool for two reasons: he actually has feelings for someone and that someone is a low born. So Nakyum running away probably snapped something inside of him hindering him from actually looking at the situation objectively. That being said.... I'm giving this man more credit than he deserves because Yoon has been like this from the beginning. He is genuinely fucked up and I was really looking forward to seeing some character development, but these past few chapters have thrown all of it out the window.
I was really rooting for Taku in the beginning, but now I see that Taku never stood a chance against Joowon in Haesoo's heart. Tbh I don't really enjoy reading this as much as I did when the manhwa first started. It feels like the story is dragging since we all know Haesoo's going to end up with Joowon anyway.

Would love if this story was rewritten to not make Seungho so extremely toxic and abusive. The trauma from his past explains his actions, but that does not excuse them. I also understand that the mindset of that time period is different, but even the servants and other nobles view him poorly (and not just because of his promiscuous nature). I think I'd have an easier time reading this if Nakyum was a little messed up too. That he had his own toxic habits to grow from, but he's completely innocent. That being said I'm still drawn to this manhwa and it's probably because the art is so beautiful to me. The characters are just a little distasteful.
