Is this the official translation or a scanlation? Some of the translations seem off in context compared to the novel from what I remember, but then again I haven’t read this in a hot minute. Why do I feel like Daniel's second body is gonna be like the final boss? Like he'll eventually improve his fat body (like he's already starting to..) so much that he won't even need the second body, even for social means because people still like him for who he is. And since the second body is now doing that "unconscious, but still moving" type thing, I think he's going to have to defeat it at some point or maybe it disappears just like it randomly appeared. I used to hate placeholders cause people used it to cut off other scan teams translations that wasn’t even bad, only to replace it with actual mediocre translation but I really miss official uploader/placeholder scan team this time.
