I'd rather a bit of a possessive loving partner that only wants what's best for you over a tiptoeing one that is changing his nature to feel secure that he can withstand the relationship and not speaking up about a clear abuse of power and mismanagement of his partner as an employee.

I think what were missing rn is that the SD cards are like a phase two of the game. So if Doha allows Bada his tape and memories, Bada will do anything to save Doha. Maybe try for himself too, but its not guaranteed which is why Doha wants him to rely on him forever. Also theres no telling if time will resume normally with the memories of the game or not once they escape, so theres a chance he loses Bada forever. That's my theory

Sorry I nvr got to the recap guys...had clients over Halloweekend. But essentially, I think this could be one of two scenarios: 1) Other people were in fact in the game at some point and the camcorder served as their way of "saving" similar to how it worked with the cassettes this time around or 2) the people in the camcorder make no consequential difference existence-wise because they're NPCs serving as a catalyst to the story as we have seen for other characters in the past. Now, do I think Doha knew about the camcorder? No. It wouldn't make sense since he's progressing the story too (we nearly forget), just on his own time till he figures out how to save Bada. Do I think he'll tamper with the SD cards, nonetheless? Of course. It's Doha. Calculated and loving, yet cynical and self-serving of his only interest aka Bada. So, yes, I think he'll tamper and meddle. But, I also think he's smart enough to catch on the sooner we figure out Bada's tape and memory situation, the sooner they can focus on getting out TOGETHER. I think it'll be unnecessarily more difficult otherwise (though, I don't put it past Doha to do so despite that).
