Alex thought he was talking about DG and got irritated, especially when he went up and talked to DG. Later on Alex gets a box of sex toys from that guy and uses them on DG out of jealousy, this is what DG is sensing when he says "it feels like he's mad at me". Alex sees DG crying because he's scared and stops the sex to talk with DG about what DG had talked with that guy about because he'd been really jealous thinkin the guy was trying to get DG to come onto his show.
