What the fuck happened on chapter 9. I'm reread it so many times and I still don't fucking understand

Yes. He refused the offer for the home visit because of his bf and he did not want to inconvenience him by coming out so publicly. The seniors at his company were jealous of how many opportunities he was getting (photoshoots/ acting jobs) even though he had not been with their company for long. The guy he thought was a friend at work, told everyone how he was complaining about these opportunities (sounding ungrateful) when they were not being given to everyone else. So they paid someone to take fake photos(?)/ stalk him. They found out he was living with another guy and probably pieced together that, they were an item and that was why he did not want to do the home visit with the cameras. Honestly, I understand how he feels, if you are putting your all and then some into something you are dead set on doing but everyone is trying to steer you away from that, I would pissed too. He has been working towards being a suit actor since he was a kid he knows what he wants.
I was also confused at first so I understand your frustration. Hope this helps but you pretty much got it.

This author is so fucking shit at taking serious plot points seriously. Old groupmate attempts to harm yeon multiple times and ends up sending taeho to the hospital one time. Yeon confronts him and then is like, let's just go back to being friends k? Anh jun fucking drugs yeon, kidnaps him, and gives him to a girl to do something(????) all while yeon is unconscious. Anh jun then gives yeon the most half assed apology ever and gets off scot free.
In addition to that, there are so many plotholes like wtf did anh jun plan to do to yeon when he tossed him to some girl??? And also how did yeon get rid of his curse? Taeho's conflict with his mom solved itself without shit even happening.
Also why does literally everything happen in the side stories like at that point just make a goddamn second season already. It is so clear that this shit was rushed. Man I really liked this shit at the start, but then so much serious shit just gets dusted off like how tf is yeon not more traumatized than he already was after all this shit that happens. Well yeah n e ways I just wish this shit wasn't rushed like hell and had more time to fully develop the characters n all that shit

I'm well aware that this manhwa was very focused around yiseon and hyeon, but I really wished the author fleshed out the other characters in the squad. I really would've loved to see more interactions between them, their backstories, how they joined the squad and all that stuff. I felt like their characters felt very straightforward in comparison to how much depth was put into yiseon's character. I also feel like the romance was extremely sudden like bro, where did those feelings come from. Ik y'all had sex n shit, but other than that, there really wasn't much proper development in the romance aspect of this shit. I still think this shit was really good n deffo worth pulling an all nighter for though lmao. 100% would erase my memory and do it again
Istfg are there ANY guideverses at all that don't turn into huge ass rape orgies or ends up with a toxic relationship. Guildmaster guy already talks in innuendos and mc is so goddamn gullible that I'm already pissed. Literally how the fuck did mc survive for this long while being an a class guide. Use your fucking brain dude omfg. Anyways I can already see how this one is gonna turn out. One guide in a majority esper guild totally seems like it wouldn't spell trouble. Istg guideverse is just a less convoluted version of omegaverse except nobody gives a shit about the guides
